Responsibilities
MTSI is seeking a skilled and proactive Engineering Analyst to support engineering projects by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting technical data. This role involves developing and maintaining engineering models, performing simulations, and preparing technical reports. The analyst will work closely with engineers and other technical staff to optimize designs, improve processes, and ensure project success. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, enabling the ability to navigate complex technical challenges while defining executable solutions. Responsibilities: Duties to be independently executed include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain engineering models and simulations using software such as ANSYS, Atlassian, CAMEO, teamwork cloud, SolidWorks, MATLAB, etc.
- Analyze engineering data, including performance metrics, test results, and manufacturing data, to identify trends and anomalies.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize designs and improve processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis of engineering problems and propose solutions.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of systems engineering or engineering analysis related experience required, and 3 years of modern digital engineering tools and processes in system development and maturation.
- Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Possess a high degree of initiative and the ability to perform day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Master's degree preferred.

Clearance Requirements:
