The Opportunity South Bow's Corporate Compliance team enables and enhances a culture of compliance, while collaborating with our business partners to champion a culture of ethics and integrity at South Bow. We are seeking a Business Analyst who has an interest in applying their judgment, independent initiative and knowledge of business processes in support of the development, maintenance, implementation and continuous improvement of the following corporate compliance programs: Corporate Ethics and Compliance including investigations, Corporate Policy, Avoiding Bribery and Corruption, Privacy, Customs and Trade, Inter-Affiliate Compliance, and Lobbying. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from more experienced members of our Corporate Compliance team. However, they will also be expected to take a proactive approach to expanding their understanding of the Company's corporate compliance programs and to take the initiative in identifying opportunities to support the continued development and implementation of those programs. What You Will Do * Collaborate with compliance partners from across the company, including HR, Legal, Internal Audit, Supply Chain and IS, to ensure appropriate governance and tools are in place to enable and support company personnel to comply with South Bow's corporate culture and applicable legal requirements. This may include: o Supporting the development and maintenance of new and existing governance documents by assisting with research and benchmarking, consulting with subject matter experts and drafting governance content o Proactively analyzing complex compliance issues and proposing solutions, including business process design requirements o Assisting with data gathering, analysis, and report writing to support corporate compliance related decision making, the implementation of business improvement initiatives, and governance coordination o Facilitating company personnel's understanding of corporate compliance related requirements, processes and initiatives o Responding to compliance related inquiries from individuals and teams across the company o Supporting corporate compliance communication and training initiatives o Supporting ethics helpline management and investigations o Reviewing contracts to ensure appropriate compliance controls and measures are in place o Utilizing Company systems and applications as appropriate to support implementing, reporting, tracking, and monitoring compliance related requirements o Supporting compliance risk assessment processes o Creating and implementing company and corporate compliance department processes o Monitoring adherence to corporate compliance requirements o Providing backup to other members of the Corporate Compliance team o Completing other tasks, as required Minimum Qualifications * At least 4 years of relevant experience * Undergraduate degree in Business, Policy Studies, Legal/Regulatory, Communications, Learning and Development or a Compliance-related field focused on the private sector * Strong computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams) * An alternative combination of education and experience may be considered To remain competitive, support our high-performance culture and allow for more flexibility in the way we work, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for our eligible office-based workforce.
