Title: Project Lead - Capital Projects Salary: $150,000 - $198,000 Focus: As a member of the Project Lead - Capital Projects Team, you will work with many stakeholders to complete the Front-End Loading on Projects including Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, EH&S, Technology Center, Procurement, Finance as well as with site, business and corporate leadership to scope, estimate, define deliverables and prioritize projects. This role will lead the project team and stakeholders through the evaluation of alternatives and select the best options for Olin and lead the project through engineering, authorization & construction. Activities may also include feasibility studies to help establish viable options for achieving site, business or corporate strategic objectives. The incumbent will utilize Olin's Capital Project Management System (CPMS) to ensure appropriate project communications and forecasting is managed. The Olin project lead is the expert in project processes & tools and will serve as a coach, mentor and trainer to plant engineers executing smaller projects. The Freeport site is the single largest chlor alkali complex in the world with more than 1,000 employees. The chemical products produced at our Freeport location include chlorine and caustic soda, vinyls, epoxies, chlorinated organics, aromatics, bleach, hydrogen, and hydrochloric acid.
