CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Manage project controls group that supports the Site T/A Planning Department, including Client and contract staff. Range of responsibilities include providing turnaround event budgeting and estimates; cost forecasting, control, and reporting; invoice processing, and all aspects of scheduling. Member of turnaround event leadership team.

Meets HSE accountabilities / competencies for the position. Must understand and is accountable for the practical application of enterprise turnaround. Process owner for all aspects of cost and scheduling related to turnarounds. This includes development and update of work process documents to ensure they are evergreen and fit for purpose. Accountable for the assembly of budgets for all turnaround events at the site, compliant with the recommended practice. Actual data will come from the individual event teams. Accountable for the preparation and submittal of the Turnaround Planning annual Business Plan, which involves update of the 10 year plan, and estimated spend with granularity for the next 2 years. Accountable for preparation and assemble of pre-spend budgets (FED IP).

Accountable for preparation and submittal of required cost and schedule reports for department and for each event for all phases. Accountable for preparation of estimate for prorateables for project allocation. Accountable for proper application of direct field labor and prorateable definitions in the recommended practice to each estimate. Accountable for integrating scope growth, addenda, and discovery into the current forecast. Provide and maintain necessary hardware and software for proper controls of cost, planning and scheduling and reporting. Integrates force report information during execution, including the gate log/Track system. Oversees and directs all work activities in the controls department. Accountable to validate all invoices for department, ensure proper coding to required purchase order, approval for payment, entering service entries if required. Accountable for reconciliation of cost forecasting tool and accounting tool of record (SAP / GSAP). Accountable for financial closure of all turnaround events.

Expereienced forecasting and control annual site turnaround spend of $80 mln - $100 mln.

10 Years Experience in planning and executing turnarounds.

Detailed knowledge of cost and scheduling work processes with strong affinity for IT support tools required.

Experiences supervising mixed staff of client and contract personnel ranging in size from 3 - 12, depending on current site turnaround load, and phasing of events.

SAP experience required.
