Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor, you will oversee and implement methods to design processes, tooling, and fixtures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards for efficient, high-quality production and ensure regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will provide technical support to lower product costs and optimize the supply chain. A key responsibility will be supervising the manufacturing engineering team to ensure effective performance and development.

Job Description (Primary Responsibilities)

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes that meet production goals.
  • Improve manufacturing processes by identifying areas and implementing cost-effective solutions to increase efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the manufacturing engineering team, ensuring effective performance and development.
  • Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor the progress of team members.
  • Maintain Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Have extensive experience in manufacturing engineering or related field, demonstrating deep understanding and proven success.

  • Be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.

  • Have knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Be knowledgeable in Design for Manufacturability, Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, and Process Documentation.

  • Experience working in an Assembly environment for medical or aerospace industries.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The base pay for this position is $97,301 - $133,789 per year depending on the geographic market.
  • Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.

Travel Requirements

  • Travel less than 10%.

Physical Requirements

  • Mobility: Move around the manufacturing floor (walking, standing, occasionally climbing stairs/ladders).
  • Manual Dexterity: Handle tools, equipment, and materials (fine motor skills).
  • Lifting: Occasionally lift and carry materials/equipment (up to 25-50 pounds).
  • Visual Acuity: Inspect products, read blueprints, and work with detailed technical documents.
  • Hearing: Hear alarms, machinery, and communicate effectively in a noisy environment.
