Senior ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Programmer / Architect

Summary: This position supports the Secretary of the Air Force Director of Personnel Digital Transformation Organization and SAF/A1X

• Salary Range $100,000 - $145,000
• Location: Remote

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, operate, and maintain fully functional CMDB solution, utilizing ServiceNow, including architecture, data models, data sources and integration points
• Define the USG client's different types of configuration items (CI), their associated characteristics (attributes), and how they are related to each other within the CMDB
• Implement and configure the CMDB solution to seamlessly integrate business applications and data into the CMDBsolution while following CMDB schema and data modeling industry best practices
• Formally establish change and configuration management processes for the enterprise enclave under the USG client's control
• Prioritize and triage USG client's systems for CMDB onboarding with customers preferred priorities
• Design interfaces for integrating mechanisms for exchanging information between USG client's systems, and establish processes to ensure data consistency and accuracy through normalization and reconciliation procedures
• Ensure CMDB processes implement required DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) guidance, FISCAM and FISMA compliance requirements for client's financial and financial feeder systems
• Develop comprehensive documentation outlining step-by-step procedures for configuring the CMDB (including architecture and workflow(s)), ensuring a repeatable and standardized process for future implementations
• Provide ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the CMDB module to ensure high accessibility and operability standards
• Direct actions of the Mid-level CMDB Engineer/Analyst under your management
• Responsible to Program Management for other duties as assigned

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Strong communication skills, written and oral
• A minimum of 7- years experience with ServiceNow CMDB
• Strong technical skills and analytic ability
• Demonstrated ability to lead adhoc teams and align disparate organizational priorities to achieve client organization's goals
• Strong familiarity with ITILv4 standards and best practices and ability to become ITIL4 certified
• Ability to comply with DODD 8140 Cyberspace Workforce Management requirements (e.g. among them, formerly DoDI 8570 IAT or IAM Level 3 certifications (CISM, CISSP, etc.) preferred or a at a minimum IAT Level 2 (Security+) required)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certificate
• Experience with ServiceNow development and O&M support on modules such as (but not limited to) ITSM, ITOM, AppEngine Integrations and RestAPIs
• Bachelor of Science(BS)/Master of Science (MS) in Cyber Security or related filed
• Must possess Department of Defense (DoD) Secret OR Top Secret (TS) level clearance
