Job Description As General Counsel, Employment Law, you will provide practical legal advice to Rockwell Automation's Human Resources function and business leaders in a wide variety of employment law matters. The General Counsel, Employment Law leads the employment law team and partners closely with colleagues in Rockwell's Office of General Counsel globally on labor and employment law matters. The General Counsel, Employment Law will counsel stakeholders regarding matters arising throughout the employee life-cycle, including, for example, background checks, accommodations and leaves of absence, and discipline and termination decisions. The General Counsel, Employment Law will also provide guidance to the HR leadership team in developing and implementing global and local strategies to support compliance and risk mitigation. The General Counsel, Employment Law will also engage and oversea outside counsel in connection with employment litigation and audits. This role will be highly collaborative across multiple functions and business units to support HR compliance activities. You will report to the VP, Law, Chief Compliance Officer, and Ombuds and be located in Milwaukee, WI. Your Responsibilities:
