Position Description

QIAGEN is seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to serve as an Enterprise Player Coach. This individual will work closely with teams to provide both leadership and technical sales expertise, helping to drive projects to successful completion while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. With a focus on selling bioinformatics software to top pharmaceutical accounts worldwide. The primary responsibilities of this role include expanding account usage of existing products, cross-selling additional product capabilities, and ensuring year-over-year (YoY) account growth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing relationships, introducing new products, and achieving ambitious sales targets within the pharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Account Growth Strategy: Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive expansion, cross-selling, and overall growth within the pharmaceutical sector.

- Relationship Building: Establish and foster strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in top pharmaceutical accounts. Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions.

- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Qiagen's bioinformatics software and its applications. Effectively communicate product features and benefits to address customer requirements and challenges.

- Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed annual sales targets through effective account management, solution selling, and negotiation skills.

- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Provide feedback to internal teams to contribute to product development and marketing strategies.

- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with company objectives.

- Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market trends. Provide regular reports to management on account performance and sales forecasts.

- Mentorship: Offer guidance, training, and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers.

- Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating best practices and promoting a positive, collaborative work environment.


Position Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or additional certifications are a plus.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Additionally, successful sales experience in the pharmaceutical and Bioinformatics space, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience in coaching and developing team members.

- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including its challenges, regulations, and trends.

- Relationship Management: Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

- Solution Selling: Proven experience in solution selling and introducing new products to existing accounts.


Personal Requirements

- Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

- Location: The location can be anywhere in the US, preferably in the East Coast (NJ, PA, NY, MA).

The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a commission plan and generous benefits.
