The Coffee and Beverage categories are the most dynamic and fastest growing in retail. Consumers' and shoppers' love affair with these products means they are looking for leading brands to elevate their daily rituals and to help them explore and discover new things. As a Shopper Marketing Specialist for Nestle Coffee and Beverage Division, you will be responsible for designing and executing programs that drive the shopper behavior we seek, moving shoppers toward purchase of our diverse portfolio of products. Putting our shoppers at the center of everything we do, this role supports and partners with the Nestle Coffee and Beverage Sales team and Brand teams to drive the categories and conversion of Nestle products at Walmart and Sam's Club.

JOB SUMMARY AND MISSION
The Shopper Marketing Specialist will support the development, execution, budget tracking and performance reporting of omni-channel shopper marketing programs and paid search initiatives that are designed to drive sales, enhance brand visibility and improve the shopper experience at Walmart and Sam's Club.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • In collaboration with the Walmart Inc. Shopper Marketing team, support annual planning processes, understanding unique business needs and developing strategy to achieve customer and company objectives.
  • For Sam's Club, develop and execute omni-shopper marketing campaigns including, but not limited to, in-store activations, digital media & paid search, ensuring alignment with brand and sales objectives.
  • Assist with mission critical administration of the Walmart omni-shopper marketing agenda
  • End to end coordination with agencies and vendors from briefing process through post-performance completion as needed to facilitate programs and maintain Vendor Management System records
  • Program analysis, to evaluate efficacy and define key learnings, and coordinate cross-functional communication of results
  • Utilize analytical tools and dashboards to generate actionable insights and drive program optimizations
  • Build and maintain essential budget and invoice tracking through established tools and financial systems
  • Support Walmart Inc. Shopper Marketing team sampling programs through supply and product ordering management

Qualifications
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years' work experience in Shopper Marketing roles in the CPG industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field / discipline.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience in shopper marketing or consumer insights.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing trends and tools.
  • Experience executing digital media through Retail Media Networks and third party vendors
  • Ability to work across the Microsoft office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Words, Teams)
  • Basic financial acumen
  • Understands the CPG industry
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, changing, matrix environment
