Lead Process Transformation Strategy Engineer
The Lead Process Transformation Strategy Engineer will work with a team of process improvement experts with accountability for delivering on a broad range of projects, varying in risk, size, and complexity, while aligning to business strategies. The Lead Process Transformation Strategy Engineer provides support to achieve business results as well as educates and creates awareness of Process Improvement / Transformation methodologies across the Bank.

The Lead Process Transformation Strategy Engineer will be focused on creating a process transformation strategy based on a holistic view of industry best-practices, an end-to-end enterprise process transformation roadmap, and will help guide the team's views around the art of the possible.
The Lead Process Transformation Strategy Engineer will also be responsible for leading internal research around pain point analysis, voice of the employee, and voice of the customer to build use cases for potential inclusion in pipeline of process improvement activities within the enterprise. There may also be occasions where they would be leading / co-leading process design sessions supporting Business Units / Support Functions across the enterprise. They will also support the overall team from a program management perspective -- providing workstream coordination, new templates/standards, and project plan support across multiple initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
Process Transformation Strategy


  • Create, maintain, and inform on industry best practices around process transformation with a focused view on digital journeys.
  • Create, maintain, and inform strategic view of functionality/use cases for BPM solution within the enterprise.
  • Responsible for ensuring PT team / relevant stakeholders stay informed on trends.
  • Responsible for communicating development timeframe to all levels of the organization.
  • Provide strategic guidance across all critical Process Transformation efforts.
  • Create/design/support program-specific metrics/KPI's for overall team.


Process Transformation Roadmap


  • Create, maintain and inform on end-to-end process transformation journey and ensuring key stakeholder inputs are included.
  • Responsible for ensuring major process change events are elevated for awareness within PT Team.
  • Work collaboratively with LOB's/Support Functions as part of deployment of BPM solution across the enterprise.
  • Create/design playbook for program management deliverables.
  • Lead coordination of all Process Transformation workstreams and create deliverables focused on transparency/insights around this work.


Voice of Possibilities


  • Create and maintain analytical view of high-impact use cases as part of ongoing support to LOB's/Support Functions.
  • Responsible for coaching/supporting PT Governance Leads as they assess and prioritize LOB/Support Function opportunities.
  • Responsible for pro-actively looking at ways to maximize relevant use cases based on corporate strategy and partnering with PT Governance Leads on implementing them within relevant LOB's/Support Functions.
  • Lead overall research efforts focused on process pain points, voice of the employee / customer and ensure all the outputs get included in overall pipeline of process improvement activities for the enterprise.


Execution and Monitoring


  • Ensure timely and relevant communication is shared with relevant stakeholders across the organization.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to optimize the solution and achieve a high adoption rate.
  • Lead/co-lead process design sessions as demand requires supporting Business Units / Support Functions across the enterprise.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business, Finance, or other related degrees OR High School/GED with 12 years Progressive Relevant experience. MBA or related Graduate degree preferred
  • 8 years of experience demonstrating end-to-end enterprise level strategy views which would be used to inform capital decisions
  • 8 years of experience demonstrating ability to prioritize multiple requests and obligations to facilitate a smooth, organized workflow, while achieving committed results on time
  • 8 years of experience in excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage with senior internal/external stakeholders and to communicate complex topics into easy-to-understand messages
  • 8 years of experience in proven ability to create and communicate strategies at all levels of the organization. Highly effective at building, nurturing, and leveraging relationships
  • 6 years of experience leading enterprise level strategy work focused on transformations that have dealt with process improvement activities as well as the technical solutions that were used to achieve the relevant changes. Proven ability to assess situations, align and understand company goals and adept at translating strategy into execution. Strong focus on managing relationships with senior internal stakeholders
  • 6 years of experience in strong analytical background with ability to leverage primary/secondary research as part of overall deliverable
  • 2 years of experience in banking, capital markets, or financial services organizations and the regulatory environment (preferred)


Licenses/Certifications:


  • Black Belt Six Sigma Certification preferred

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position offers a hybrid work model that includes onsite and remote days as determined by the manager. Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
