As a Low Code Developer Intern, you are responsible for the development of applications, workflows, and interfaces within a Low Code Application Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Following team standards to develop, debug, and document applications, workflows, and interfaces from end-to-end by having basic programming skills within at least one Low Code Application Platform.
  • Maintains existing applications, workflows, and interfaces including bug fixes and enhancements while collaborating with end users and/or a SMEs to define bugs and enhancements.
  • Base understanding of data structures, relational data, and interfacing with APIs.
  • Provides technical assistance, troubleshooting, and problem solving of development issues and enhancements.
  • Participates in Agile process as well as project planning and quality assurance tasks.
  • Completes Low Code Application Platform base level training requirements including all non-technical training and continuous education activities.
  • Assists in HIPAA compliance including:
    • Ensuring compliance with privacy practices
    • Participating in HIPAA training on PHI
    • Maintaining and updating PHI requirements as requested

This position may have access to Protected Health Information. In accordance with HIPAA Privacy Rule, the person filling this position has been trained on the Interstates HIPAA Privacy Policy and agrees to abide by the stipulations forth in that policy.


Qualifications

Skillsets/Experience:

  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset

  • Ability to understand Low Code Application platform.
  • Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting and problem-solving.

  • Communication skills

Education and/or Experience: Currently studying to achieve a bachelor's or technical degree (B.A., B.S., or A.A.S) from four-year or two-year college or university with an emphasis in Computer Science, Business or Data Science or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Travel Requirements: The amount of travel will vary according to business requirements. Minimal travel expected.

Location: Preferred for candidates to be located in Sioux Center, IA, or Sioux Falls, SD.
