Description

What The Role Is

Under general supervision, but in accordance with established lending policies and procedures, receives and reviews the commercial banking needs for Corporate Clients with annual revenues preferably in the range of $25 million to $1 billion.

How You Will Make An Impact

Solicits business from potential and existing customers (outside and inside bank location) to include loans, deposits, treasury management, foreign exchange, and rate risk management.

Interviews commercial applicants and processes loan requests.

Analyzes applicant's financial status and credit to determine feasibility of granting loan.

Prepares appropriate loan documentation and verifies loan agreements are complete and accurate according to bank policy.

Maintains and grows client relationships.

Manages a portfolio of commercial loans.

May have to work through stressed credit situations with clients.

Provides and maintains a professional, business-like atmosphere within the banking division.

Mitigates risk for the Company and the Client.

Who You Are

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Sales oriented.

Strong desire to be part of a winning team that is growing our presence in Texas.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 9 hours of accounting.

Experience

A minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in a financial institution as a commercial lender.

Knowledgeable of laws and regulations applicable to lending practices.

Proven history of successfully managing a portfolio.

Characteristics

Regular and reliable attendance.

Works cooperatively with others.

Strong Interpersonal skills

Excellent foundation in commercial credit

Ability to present opportunities clearly and concisely to a credit executive or a credit committee in collaboration with the Portfolio Manager and the Executive Managing Director.
