Environmental/Safety Manager

DESCRIPTION

Longeviti is seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Environmental/Safety Manager on an upcoming proposal. This is a key position. The incumbent shall direct day-to-day management of contract support operations, involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations, or on a single project. This work is to be performed at FLETC facility located in Charleston, SC and the JBC/WS in Goose Creek, SC. The centers are federal government training facilities hosting students from multiple agencies and provides a wide range of basic and advanced law enforcement training.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist senior management as required in managing contract performance.
• Provide technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work and reviews the quality of all work products
• Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:

• Environmental/Safety Manager shall have a minimum of five (5) years' experience (within past 10 years) in managing environmental and safety compliance programs.
• Have completed a 30-hour OSHA Outreach Training Program no later than one year after employment with Longeviti.
• Have completed training in hazardous waste management as required by 40 CFR 265.16 no later than year after employment with Longeviti and maintain this training annually thereafter.
• Completed training in hazardous materials transportation as required by 49 CFR 172.704 no later than one year after employment with Longeviti and maintain this training every three years thereafter.
