Transportation Manager

DESCRIPTION

Longeviti is seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Transportation Manager on an upcoming proposal. This is a key position. The incumbent shall direct day-to-day management of contract support operations, involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations, or on a single project. This work is to be performed at FLETC facility located in Charleston, SC and the JBC/WS in Goose Creek, SC. The centers are federal government training facilities hosting students from multiple agencies and provides a wide range of basic and advanced law enforcement training.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist senior management as required in managing contract performance.
• Provide technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work and reviews the quality of all work products
• Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:

• Possess at least 5 years of responsible experience in the management of transportation services of the approximate size of the FLETC Charleston facility.
• At least 1 year of specific experience in managing transportation type services.
• Shall have basic computer skills to include the ability to input data into the system and generate various reports and correspondence as required.
• Prefer experience involving vehicle maintenance
