Overview

Summary/Objectives:

The Installation Manager is responsible for developing and evaluating installed programs. These

programs are designed to sell products to customers that require suppliers to install the products

they supply. Other responsibilities include hiring, training, and evaluating Install managers.

They must also qualify new sources of labor to install products, and reduce risk and liability to

insure profitable programs.

Essential Functions:

  • Assisting in the Hiring of Installed personnel. (Installers and Install managers)
  • Training Installed Managers.
  • keep track of every job sites progress and cleanliness
  • Assisting in bids and sales presentations.
  • Interviewing, qualifying and contracting subcontractors for labor sources.
  • Adhering to policy and procedures for installed programs.

pre walk and post walks to be completed in a specific time frame

communication with the job supers and office staff to get jobs completed

identify install errors and set up the repair/ service/ warranty

run the Monday morning install update meeting with the updates on all jobsites from the previous week, this week and the following week.

what issues did we have , What went well overall satisfaction with the completion.

what is to be installed this week, do we have the product, if not what went wrong.


Responsibilities

  • Spreadsheet Software- 84 sales
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common blueprints, reports, financial
  • reports and legal documents; respond to common inquiries or complaints from
  • customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community;
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions;
  • interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
  • and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Qualifications

Fifth year College or University program certificate; or 3 to 5 years specific experience and/or

training related to the essential functions of the job; or equivalent combination of education and

experience.
