Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to support the legal department with a variety of legal issues, including but not limited to: (1) drafting, reviewing and approving certain legal corporate contracts, (2) ensuring legal compliance for all contracts, drafts, internal procedures, standard operating procedures and other relevant legal processes, and (3) assisting with various projects, litigations, and investigations as needed. Individual will review contracts for certain key terms, draft template agreements, act as a liaison with all corporate departments, obtain appropriate departmental review, ensure all contracts meet legal compliance requirements (including compliance with FMV and AKS requirements), and will utilize the electronic document routing system. In addition, this position will assist the legal and compliance departments with gathering and maintaining data for external reporting purposes and other coordination and special projects as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: No staff supervisory responsibilities. Interaction: The incumbent works closely with all departments in the Company, special emphasis on working directing with the Legal and Compliance teams, operations, customers (internal and external), vendors and HCP and non-HCP consultants. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, move between spaces, reach with hands and arms, and stoop. Close vision and the need to focus on computer screen, use of hands, fingers and wrist to type on keyboard and manipulate mouse.
