What You Will Do:

  • The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for assisting in testing electronic components and systems.
  • The technician will also assist the production coordinator with receiving product, kitting jobs, and packing orders. This position will work closely with quality control and production staff to maintain efficient workflow and product integrity.
  • Test various components and assemblies
  • Operate 3D printer
  • Laser etches products
  • Serial number entry for received serialized items
  • Receive, maintain, and organize inventory
  • Kit job orders
  • Pack customer orders
  • Adhere to all ESD (electrostatic discharge) and safety protocols during manufacturing
  • Maintain accurate records of production data and component inventories
  • Work under general to limited supervision once proficient in assigned tasks. Complex tasks are supervised

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering irons, and other testing/assembly tools

Physical Demands

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers, to pick, feel and/or inspect material. Employee would also reach with hands and arms as needed.
  • Some work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
