They work collaboratively with other IT professionals to deploy new capabilities, trouble-shoot/resolve issues, and ensure systems are running properly. The IT system analyst works closely with business partners to deliver streamlined technical solutions that support critical business processes.

Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
- Become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in the areas you support.
- Gather business requirements. Research and identify technical options. Propose viable solutions to meet business requirements.
- Document technical solutions and system runbooks.
- Communicate effectively with customers and set proper expectations.
- Respond to the ITSM ticketing system. Complete requests and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate and coordinate across all service teams (DBAs, desktop, developers, administrators, security, etc.)
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes.
- Deploy new capabilities, such as: mobility, data analytics, self-service functions, digital processes, automated workflows, etc.
- Respond to audit requests for SOX/ICFR. Participate in audit discussions.
Position Requirements:
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 1-3 years of experience supporting large business applications.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Time & Labor preferred.
- Experience with timekeeping and payroll applications preferred.
- Experience with implementing system integrations and supporting data file transfer processes between systems.
- Experience with providing technical requirements to developers.
- Familiar with testing system functionality and validating it works as expected after system changes.
- Familiar with Linux operating systems and basic commands.
- Able to understand or decipher program logic (e.g., PL/SQL code) and process logs.
- Proficient in writing simple to moderately complex SQL queries against an Oracle relational database.
- Will work outside normal business hours for emergency system changes or critical deployments.
- Will provide technical support for month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Experience working with vendors to get application patches or fixes.
