YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting Sustainability Data Analyst opportunity in our Merriam, KS office. The Sustainability Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in advancing our commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible operations. This position aims to ensure accurate and insightful analysis of sustainability data throughout operations and production, driving the economic viability of our initiatives and ensuring compliance with sustainability and environmental standards. The successful candidate will enable our organization to make data-driven decisions, enhance our environmental impact, and lead the way in innovative, sustainable practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Tracking and monitoring key sustainability metrics including but not limited to greenhouse gas (GHG) data, analyzing data to measure towards goals, and generating reports for stakeholders. Provide data-driven insights for informed decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Data Flow Improvement: Collaborate with IT and data management teams to enhance the overall data flow within the organization. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and gaps in data collection and reporting processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with different departments within the organization to help integrate sustainability considerations into business operations and educate employees on green practices.
  • Green Initiatives Implementation: Designing and executing environmentally friendly practices across the organization.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with the Procurement Department to identify and source sustainable products and services from suppliers to minimize the environmental footprint.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:



  • Excel proficiency.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting to track sustainability performance.
  • Proficiency in executing ad-hoc analysis to glean insights and inform decision-making.
  • Proven track record of successfully completing projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across departments.
  • Strong analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from data, focusing on problem-solving and critical thinking. Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other visualization tool required.



Preferred:



  • Bachelor's degree of a relevant field, such as Data Analytics, Data Science, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of environmental principles, regulations, and sustainability practices.



SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 5:00 PM
