Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and talented communications specialist to join our corporate marketing team. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with demonstrated, strong writing ability, and the unique skillset of being able to create clear, concise and easily digestible internal communications materials. Additionally, this person should have a knack for creative writing and have a passion for developing engaging content and programming for a growing workforce. This individual should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a desire and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

Develops and executes internal communications projects that align to the company's culture and business objectives. Collaborate with internal functional stakeholders to enhance employee engagement and ensure clear, effective messaging across our organization. This role will be responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies, crafting compelling content, and supporting leadership in fostering a connected and informed workforce.

Specific day to day duties may include:

  • Create, edit and distribute engaging content for multiple channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet, digital signage and town halls
  • Maintain and optimize internal communication platforms to improve accessibility and engagement
  • Manage the day-to-day content and visual strategy of corporate Intranet, serving as the go-to resource across the enterprise for site and content creation and organization
  • Manage execution of internal lunch-and-learn program
  • Support content development and distribution of annual compliance training program, partnering closely with program lead
  • Management of corporate brand store vendor and associated tasks
  • Partner closely with CMO on the execution and management of corporate social responsibility initiatives
  • Gather feedback through employee surveys and communication audits to refine strategies
  • Ensure consistent branding and tone in all internal messaging.
  • Assist with other departmental projects on an as-needed basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience with a bachelors degree
  • Strong writing ability
  • Experience managing intranet content management system, supporting graphics and content strategy
  • Experience writing, editing and distributing companywide communications
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environment
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Familiar with AP style
  • Preferred: Government contracting / B2G marketing experience
  • Preferred: Creative writing experience and strong PowerPoint design skills
