Remote Business Development Manager (Professional Services) Greater Chicago, IL Market!

Your Role & Responsibilities:

Create and Execute a Business Development Plan to Generate Branch Sales Growth and Profitability:



  • Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to generate new clients and expand current clients
  • Develop a target client list and marketing plan that supports strategic initiatives
  • Establish a daily and weekly business development schedule to reach individual gross margin dollar objectives
  • Work directly with Manager and/or Sales Coach to establish individual activity and result expectations
  • Conduct sales activity and documents in system daily and weekly
  • Cross-sells services, including alternative staffing solutions, of all RemX and Employbridge divisions
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintain personal networks; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Works directly with a Sale Coach to further strengthen Sales and Service knowledge
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential


Skills, Knowledge,& Abilities:



  • Staffing Experience is required
  • B2B Sales in the Accounting, Engineering, Legal, Healthcare, Admin/Clerical, or Contact Support sector strongly preferred.
  • Call (telemarketing) to generate potential prospects
  • A vivacious attitude, competitive spirit, and loves a challenge.
  • The ability to build relationships by daily interfacing with all levels of an organization. This would include the C- Suite, Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, and peer-level associates.
  • The capability to build and grow a book of business in your own local territory based on sales ability and business acumen.
  • Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships and appropriate rapport with all levels within client organizations, candidates, internal colleagues and management
  • Proven experience meeting or exceeding weekly goals to bring in new accounts through innovative methods i.e. Lead Gen, Vidyard, Zoom, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Able to creativity use EmployBridge's innovative technology to reach clients and prospects.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
