Job Purpose
Avionics Service Engineer - Perform troubleshooting with the field, repairs, modifications and installations on C-12 and C-26 aircraft avionics, wiring, components, and flight controls. Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals and/or directives necessary for the accomplishment of job assignment. The Aircraft Service engineer is expected to accomplish aircraft modifications in the field, as well as FAA 24 Month ADC and Transponder recertifications. This work will be accomplished on C-12 and C-26 aircraft sites, that are both CONUS and OCONUS. The ideal candidate will be based at one of our CONUS or OCONUS sites to better align with operational requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
The primary functions of an "Aircraft Avionics Service Engineer" and which can be performed without direct supervision include:
* Performs tasks as assigned /directed by Management in accordance with instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives.
* Utilize technical data packages to install and test avionic modifications.
* Obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate and certify air data and transponder systems IAW the FAR's.
* Evaluates aircraft discrepancies to identify proper methods for repair. Identifies necessary parts, materials, and tooling requirements to complete task.
* Utilize manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Maintenance Engineering Directives, schematics, drawings, blueprints, charts, and other applicable publications to install, test, troubleshoot and ensure aircraft modifications are accomplished in a timely manner.
* Inspect for corrosion, treat, and repair discrepancies. Perform touch up painting and apply decals and labels. Prepare aircraft components for paint.
* Comply with and follow established standards of workmanship, safety, quality, and production.

Key Performance Indicators

* Amongst other basis, the performance KPI shall be linked to the Capabilities Program Manager's achievement of obligations and company requirements. It shall cover amongst others the following areas: Successful programs/projects delivery in terms of scope, schedule, cost, quality, etc. Additional KPIs shall be developed by the Capabilities Program Manager, Senior Lead Engineer and/or PMO management, subject to the requirements of the PMO and the business.

Work Experience

* 15+ years of Aircraft electrical installation, test and troubleshooting experience preferred.
* 10+ years of C-12, C-26 or T-1A experience preferred.

Position Competencies Required

* Travel may be required up to 50% of the time.

Salary - $90,000.00 per year.
