What You'll Do
  • Interact with technical engineers and non-technical operations personnel to integrate new technologies and update existing systems, as well as provide technical troubleshooting support to operations.
  • Develops Mechanical engineering design and modification of industrial process equipment, fluid power systems, lubrication systems, and circulating water systems
  • Design and coordinate detailed engineering for new construction and expansion projects
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for each project
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop specifications, bid packages, construction schedules, etc. to insure completion of projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
What You'll Need
  • 5-10 years' experience working on fast-track projects
  • Demonstrated experience and/or skills working on multiple projects of varied degrees of complexity at the same time
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent work ethic, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Goal orientated
  • Proficient in MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferred
  • Strong communication skills required. Must read, speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience in steel manufacturing.
Your Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
