Description

The Wage and Hour Compliance Manager is responsible for the
administration and monitoring of all CWC wage and hour compliance efforts
across all projects. This role
coordinates between the Construction Technology Manager and project site teams
to ensure technology and site management efforts are in alignment with the CWC
Subcontractor Wage Administration Program (SWAP).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Assist Executive Director of Risk Management with
    evaluation of subcontractor wage administration risks, development of corporate
    policies and procedures, development and implementation of education programs,
    and monitoring of corporate and project compliance with the CWC SWAP
  • Assist the Construction Technology Manager and project
    teams with implementation of the CWC SWAP
  • Conduct project CWC SWAP implementation reviews, and
    develop improvement plans as needed
  • Conduct subcontractor employee interviews to verify subcontractor
    compliance with all labor laws and the CWC SWAP
  • Provide immediate guidance to subcontractors and
    project teams to ensure compliance with all labor laws, other project specific
    regulatory requirements, and the CWC SWAP
  • Ensure that project wage administration documentation
    is accurate and complete
  • Ensure that all labor law and wage compliance information
    are properly posted
  • Develop and administer CWC continuing education
    programs to ensure all field staff understand applicable regulations, project
    specific requirements, and the requirements of the CWC SWAP
  • Maintain accurate CWC employee training records
  • Assist the CWC Occupational Health and Safety
    Department as needed to resolve imperative health and safety concerns
  • Use CWC selected technology and software to complete
    projects, as assigned

Knowledge, Experience, and Special Skills Required

  • At least five (5) years of experience in construction,
    preferably with exposure to payroll administration, time tracking, construction
    technology, and project support
  • Understanding of subcontractor operations and employee
    relations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Experience developing and administering employee
    training material is strongly desired
  • Must have a good driving record that is clear of
    excessive and/or habitual traffic violations, excessive points
    or accidents
  • Fluency in Spanish language verbal and written
    communication is required

Job Demands

  • Individual should be able to reach above and below,
    stoop and bend, sit, walk, stand, and climb ladders and stairs. Individuals
    should also be able to lift, carry and/or move items up to 25lbs.
  • Individual may be exposed to heavy machinery/equipment,
    hazardous chemicals, and extreme weather conditions.
  • Minimum of 40 hours per week is required. Work hours
    will vary depending on project requirements and may involve weekends and night
    work.
  • Position is mostly project based with some time at main
    office location.
