What You'll Do: This position is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of all LGE properties. The Facilities Operations Engineer will share our passion and seriousness about providing a first-class property management experience to our employees and our members. Coordinating maintenance tasks, conducting inspections, implementing repairs, and leading vendor / contractor relationships will all be crucial to the success of the Facilities Operations Engineer. This position also supports courier-related tasks, oversees vehicle maintenance, and maintains an inventory of supplies toensure daily operational readiness. This position will report to the Facilities Manager while also collaborating with the Property Management Team to proactively create innovative processes and strategies for all things facilities. Addressing facility-related needs, while maintaining compliance and safety / service standards will be at the core of the Facilities Operations Engineer. Essential Functions: Work with Facilities Operations Manager handling all basic to moderate Property Management issues and problems.Assist Facilities Operations Manager with monitoring, scheduling and updating the LGE Help Desk and Angus System' along with self-performing repair work when necessary and effective. Assists with outside service representatives and vendors in researching, gathering proposals, and scheduling service. Ability to self-start, work independent of daily check-ins and maintain high level of positive energy for all job functions. Responsible for daily post office service gathering, mail, certifies, and parcels. Responsible for branch courier service delivering/collecting - outgoing/incoming mail and supplies. Provide an outstanding member and facility experience and environment utilizing respectful communication skills and a member first approach in a wide variety of settings including corporate offices and branches. Communicate with a wide variety of individuals both inside and outside the organization to obtain information, share information, answer questions, and resolve problems. Prioritize and accomplish assigned tasks independently and within established timeframes. Maintain and log Facility vehicles for emissions, tags, oil changes, service repairs, tire rotation, and keeping vans washed and clean. Provide after-hours response to critical facility-related situations at all company properties and assets.. Completes punch list inspections and tests, maintains logs and records reflecting results. Ensures grounds, parking lots, and driveways are maintained. Performs minor building and furniture modifications or repairs. Ensures buildings and equipment are clean, in good repair, and well maintained. Move heavy furniture, equipment, fixtures, supplies. Assist with maintaining an accountable Key Program. Applying cost effectiveness when purchasing approved needed supplies using corporative credit along with balancing monthly statements accordingly. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with Credit Union personnel, management, vendors, and service providers. Performs miscellaneous and specially requested tasks. Completes assigned maintenance functions in accordance with established policies and procedures and ADA and OSHA regulations. Maintain familiarity with and follow all policies, procedures and processes which have been established in order to meet compliance requirements of all applicable federal regulations. The regulations include but are not limited to the Privacy Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Reg. CC and Patriot Act. Who you are: Required: High School diplomaRequired: 4+ years of maintenance experience. Required: valid Georgia Drivers License. Ability to make deliveries and collections efficiently. Safe driving record and knowledge of service routes performed in good time. Possesses solid working knowledge of tools, equipment and maintenance procedures. Basic understanding of blueprints. Must have adequate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs. Good organization skills with an eye for detail. Good mechanical and problem solving abilities. Well organized and able to work well independently. Proven interpersonal and communication skills. |
