Position: Senior Business Intelligence Manager Job Site: 1450 Brickell Avenue, Suite 3040, Miami, FL 33131 Hours: Full Time; Mon-Fri (40 hrs/week) Job Duties: Coordinate multiple projects and ensure the work products and processes of the project teams meet the defined standards. Work with multiple business constituencies, effectively managing their expectations and establishing priorities. Constantly reinforce the role of BI in the business and clearly communicate what business intelligence will and will not deliver. Monitor industry trends and identify emerging technologies that should be adopted. Act as the liaison between Business Intelligence and the business by translating business needs and requirements from an analysis perspective into tangible and impactful business applications. Understand business strategy to inform and prioritize analytics and visualization priorities and projects. Identify and articulate business opportunities and value for information usage. Maintain BI strategy. Develop and maintain relationships with top business and technology executives. Adapt existing methodology to warehousing disciplines. Remote work is permissible. Minimum Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Applied Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Special Requirements: Five (5) years of experience must include: Utilizing report writing software/Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as Cognos and Microsoft Power BI, to create dashboards and reports that enable the business to make timely and effective decisions; Utilizing cloud platforms such as Azure to implement advanced analytics platform using Machine Learning and Cognitive Services, performing Web Scraping using Python and APIs, and creating Data Catalogs, Matrices, and Diagrams for BI projects; Data storage, retrieval, and analysis using various reporting tools and query language, including SQL Server; Designing and implementing data ingestion processes using APIs, Python, and data integration tools such as Informatica, SSIS, and Databricks; Implementation of data lake solution using Azure HD Insight, Databricks, and Cloudera Big Data platform; Moving Legacy database applications built in Access/Excel to latest Cloud solutions such as Azure and on-premises solution such as SQL server; Implementing multi-dimensional modeling tools (Anaplan or other platform) to create business insights and KPIs and security measures for new and existing models utilizing package level, object level, and data level security; Building Advanced Analytics platforms using cloud to drive organizational strategy and forecasts through improved analysis methodologies; and Using Alteryx, Qlik, MS Excel, Access, and other data analysis tools for regression analysis, cluster analysis, time series analysis, and sentiment analysis, and utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS to implement advanced analytics platform using Cloudera Data platform.
