McMillen, Inc. is looking for an Equipment Office Assistant to join our team. This position will be based out of our corporate headquarters office in Boise, ID and support administrative functions for our construction equipment group. This person should possess strong computer and clerical skills.

Responsibilities:



  • Maintain and manage DOT driver files, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
  • Oversee and update TENNA equipment inspection software to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Coordinate logistical arrangements for equipment, including transfers, deliveries, and scheduling.
  • Input and manage purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
  • Procure heavy equipment parts as needed, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisitions.
  • Assist in scheduling mechanics for equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Foster strong working relationships with project teams, providing timely communication and support.
  • Prepare and assist with monthly equipment-related reporting and analysis.


Qualifications:



  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
  • 1 - 2 years of professional work experience supporting administrative/clerical functions within the construction, logistics, or related industry.
  • Knowledge of heavy construction equipment is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other applicable software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Open to receiving directions and responsive to the needs of the equipment management team.
  • Demonstrates punctuality, regular attendance, and reliability in alignment with company work hours.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites in the Pacific Northwest and Southwest Central regions.


Compensation Package:



  • Pay Range: DOE
