As a Software Engineer - Integrations, you will maintain and build ETL pipelines, ensuring smooth integration of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) into our platform. This role will involve working closely with internal teams, such as Professional Services, Sales, and Data & Gen AI, to design and implement solutions that address client needs and provide actionable insights. You will serve as a subject-matter primary resource for all platform and e-commerce ETL and integration requirements. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Build and Maintain ETL Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain existing and new ETL pipelines for HRIS and ATS integrations using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions.
- Collaborate with Teams: Partner with Professional Services and Sales teams to customize pipelines to meet client-specific requirements. Work with Data & Gen AI teams to develop internal and external reporting solutions for integration metrics.
- Process Design and Future Growth: Collaborate with the team to design processes and pipelines that meet current operational needs and scale to support future growth.
- Investigate and Recommend Integration Strategies: Research and evaluate enterprise service bus (ESB) options, integration technologies and industry trends to develop recommendations for a scalable and efficient technical integrations strategy. Collaborate with engineering leadership to align these recommendations with long-term organizational goals.
- Technical Leadership and Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for platform and e-commerce ETL and other integration needs, ensuring conformance to best practices, approved patterns, and high-quality standards are maintained.
- Documentation and Refinement: Refine requirements, contribute to backlog development, and document integration workflows for seamless execution.

YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
- ETL and Integration Expertise: Advanced skills in designing and managing ETL pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions. Strong understanding of system design, service-oriented architecture, and integration patterns across data and API tiers.
- E-commerce Architecture: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their integration needs.
- DevOps and Agile Practices: Strong knowledge of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring strategies. Experience working in agile environments, leveraging iterative processes and collaborative methodologies to deliver value efficiently.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving integration issues while adapting to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating technical solutions.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Capable of working independently and mentoring others on integration best practices. Proactive in driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Learning: Dedicated to staying current with emerging integration technologies and maintaining a growth mindset to enhance professional and technical skills.
- 3+ years of software development experience, with a focus on data integration and ETL pipelines.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services, particularly Synapse, Data Factory, and Azure Functions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Professional Services, Sales, and Analytics.
- Bachelor's degree
IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience with integrations for HRIS and ATS platforms.
- Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI or similar.
- Experience with modern ESB frameworks.
- Experience driving integration strategies in a services-oriented architecture.
