Location Expectations: This is a remote opportunity within the Southeast Territory, preferably Charlotte, NC, but would consider other markets between Atlanta and Washington DC. The candidate must currently reside in respective region.
About This Opportunity:
- This role is expected to work remote but will require travel to meet with Partners in their offices.
- The salary below refers to the 50%, that is base and there is a 50% commission paid based on sales/goal achievement.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will maintain client relationships with key target accounts that have a strategic impact on the long-term success of the organization. You will identify cross sale and up opportunities and will work to resolve any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
What Will You Do?
- Serve as the strategic lead for high value named accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and partnership growth.
- Develop a strong pipeline and reach quarterly / annual sales and revenue targets.
- Create and support the execution of strategic account plans that focus on mutual-success and customer value.
- Drive new business development by researching, qualifying, contacting, presenting, and closing new clients.

- Continuously develop relationships with priority customer stakeholders, understand their key business issues, and recommend ways to deliver value.
- Identify and complete upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts and the broader market by proactively introducing solutions to new stakeholders and prospects.
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of opportunities at named accounts, including renewals, projects, and share improvement opportunities.
- Communicate customer activity, opportunity status, renewal status, and strategic plan progress to management.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
- Development and maintenance of the company's image and reputation in the marketplace.
- Utilize CRM for all aspects of account management: lead generation and contact, accounts set up to complete order cycles.
- Participate in continuing education related to the business of the company.
- Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures.
Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- Eight (8+) years proven sales experience in outside sales of which three (3+) years in strategic account management and/or sales management.
- History of success maintaining and developing key relationships.
- Ability to understand where potential exists in assigned accounts and can recognize and create opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce software and Microsoft Office.
- Relevant and strong experience and knowledge of the Networking and Wireless market.
- Expertise in implementing and successfully driving an indirect channel sales model in addition to direct sales.
- A passion for winning with a strong aptitude for business strategy and excellent collaboration skills.
- Can deliver a clear and compelling value proposition to customers/partners.

- A bachelor's degree supported by five (8+) years of real sales experience.
- Confident self-starter with integrity and accountability; an exemplary track record of consistent achievement in a large hardware / software company.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
* $154,000 - $231,000
