This position is responsible for carrying out Medical Equipment Management Plan as directed by department manager. May advance to Clinical Engineering Technician II with demonstrated experience when there is a business need or an opening at the Clinical Engineering Technician II level. The Clinical Engineering Technician I is responsible for:
Work schedule: FTE 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly), Day Shift Required Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an approved clinical engineering electronics program or graduate of an approved electronics program or equivalent experience Experience: 0 to 2 years' experience in clinical engineering electronics Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Must have a valid driver's license and meet the insurability requirements relating to Region's Hospital motor vehicle violation criteria.
