Are you ready to make a significant impact by supporting critical national security infrastructure? T-Rex Solutions is looking for a highly skilled ISSE to join our dynamic team at Ft. Meade, MD.

About the Role

In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative team to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate solutions and develop, implement and enforce security requirements. You'll analyze information technology and system risks in a complex environments and articulate results to all personnel.

What You'll Do



  • Analyzing user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications; analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities; guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
  • Work with and implement security requirements for scanning and for IAVA and critical patch updates.
  • Create and update SSP's to include exacta tool expertise.
  • Interaction required at all levels of management and technical levels
  • Utilize STE/STN knowledge and support for implementation.


What We're Looking For



  • Twenty (20) years of experience as a System Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required. Poly must be current within last 4 years. Work is located at OPS3
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required
  • Experience Identifying Vulnerabilities and mitigating solutions
  • Experience with creating and updating SSP's to include exacta tool expertise.
  • Interaction required at all levels of management and technical levels
  • STE/STN knowledge and support for implementation.
  • Security Accreditation and re certification experience.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $215,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
