Shift: Primarily evening and weekend shifts. Department supervisors will negotiate a mutually agreeable work schedule with the students based on their class schedule and the department's staffing needs. * Base Pay Range: o X RAY: $17.50/HR o Cat Scan: $18.00/HR o MRI: $18.50/HR * Shift Differentials: Additional $2.00 per hour for evenings, nights and weekends. These exams include fluoroscopy, general radiography, IVP's, emergency room patients, and some trauma work. Perform all aspects of patient contact including greeting patient, exam information, proper positioning and marking of radiographs, and proper film development. Keep rooms stocked and cleaned at all times; equipment cleaned and properly maintained. Follow proper radiation safety guidelines as determined by the department. Learn and utilize computer systems including Cerner/Powerchart, PACS, and Radnet. May complete unit/department-specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Completion of one (1) year of an AMA approved radiology technology program. Applicants must be within one year of graduation from a radiology technology program as of May 2025 REQUIRED APPLICATION DOCUMENTS: Provide a copy of grades or transcript. Completion of employment application. Provide two letters of reference, including one from your most recent clinical instructor. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
