Our client is one of the world's leading providers of mission-critical flow control products and services for the Industrial Aerospace and Defense markets. 1st Shift | 7 AM - 4 PM

Qualifications



  • Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field, ASQ certification, or extensive verifiable experience in lieu of a degree
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in aerospace quality and manufacturing
  • In-depth knowledge of FAA Repair Station regulations and government contract requirements
  • Experience with Six Sigma tools and methodology (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred)
  • Proficient in problem-solving techniques: 5-Whys, FMEA, 8-D, Pareto, fault tree analysis, and Ishikawa diagrams
  • Familiarity with Aerospace Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110, FAR 21, FAR 145, Nadcap)
  • Expertise in blueprint reading, GD&T, and various manufacturing processes (machining, anodizing, NDT, etc.)
  • Ability to review failure analysis reports and perform dimensional tolerance stack-up analysis
  • Strong skills in business/technical writing, presentations, project management, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with inspection metrology and automated measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of industrialization processes such as PPAP, PVI (DVI), and FAI per AS9102
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and other software applications



The Senior Quality Engineer will oversee supplier project management, supplier assessments, supplier performance improvement, and quality system management. Day-to-day tasks also include performing root cause analysis to formulate correction action plans, being a leader on problem-solving teams, modifying procedures, production processes, engineering specifications, and inspection techniques to improve performance, developing quality plans, managing supplier correction action requests, understanding customer requirements, developing process flow charts, conducting internal and external quality system, process, and product verification audits, and other job-related tasks.
