We are currently looking for a dynamic and skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to provide robust support to our development teams in delivering top-quality software. The QA Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with program managers, product owners, and scrum teams to ensure the prioritization and proper implementation of quality processes and automated testing.
Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and maintain automation tests coded in C# for client-server applications.
- Collaborate effectively with scrum teams and product owners to identify test cases suitable for automation.
- Coordinate with scrum teams to promptly report any test failures.
- Deliver clear communication on test progress, outcomes, testing metrics, and issues to key stakeholders.
- Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance and refine test automation processes and frameworks.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in a QA automation role.
- Demonstrate familiarity with working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Showcase excellent oral and written communication skills for seamless interaction across diverse teams and management.
- Exhibit the capability to tackle intricate problems, utilizing research, analysis, and expertise to craft inventive and resourceful solutions.
- Possess hands-on experience in the following areas:Object-oriented programming using C# in the Visual Studio IDE.
- Test automation frameworks (e.g., WinAppDriver, TestStack White, Selenium).
- Test case and build management tools (preferably TFS).
- Version control systems (preferably Git or TFVS).
- SQL Server (including complex joins, inserts, updates).
- Preferred additional experience in:Automated testing of client-server applications.
- API testing.
Estimated Pay Low - $55hr
Estimated Pay High - $60hr
