Behavioral Health Specialist works as part of the behavioral health inpatient treatment team providing direct patient care. While they must have their CNA the Behavioral Health Specialist has additional education, experience and skill set above that of a CNA. Behavioral Health Specialist provides individual and group education to patients and family. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Certification and Licensure Certified Nursing Assistant Skills and Abilities The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Level of Supervision Must possess the ability to both independently and as part of a team. Reports to and takes directive from registered nurse.
