Daikin Applied is seeking a talented Sr IT M365 & Sharepoint Infrastructure Specialist. The Sr IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for administration and support of infrastructure implementations. You will provide direct technical support for all requirements in the planning, design, coordination, programming, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to infrastructure / information systems, software, transaction monitors, and the range of products and productivity tools that support testing and production environments. What you will do:



  • Implement and Configure: Implement and configure the Microsoft 365 tenant according to organizational requirements and best practices. This includes setting up user accounts, managing licenses, and configuring security settings to ensure a secure and efficient environment. Also includes planning and executing the deployment of new Microsoft 365 services and features
  • Administration and Management: Administers, manage, and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint Online, site collections, and sites/subsites, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, OneDrive, other related services and interoperability with other products in the Microsoft 365 environment and our on-premises environment. This includes required maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth operation of the Microsoft 365 services
  • SharePoint Site Administration, site creation, permissions management, list/library configuration, page and template creation, column and view configuration, custom design and development in modern experiences for pages, lists, and sites
  • Implement updates to site structures, list/library best practices, custom forms, custom flows, search configuration, metadata management, and integrations with Microsoft and third-party apps and services. Customize SharePoint forms using Microsoft Power Apps and related technologies
  • Participate in technical design sessions; develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with business objectives
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and use programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, .NET) to automate processes, manage environments, and create custom solutions. Utilize Microsoft Graph API for advanced integration and customization needs


  • Consolidate and streamline Microsoft 365 environments as part of M&A activities, tenant-to-tenant integration/migrations and data consolidation ensuring a smooth transition and integration of IT resources
  • Create and maintain documentation for the day-to-day administration and change management, including process documentation and training/reference materials
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop engaging sites, resources, and tools for business operations
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards, including data protection and privacy requirements. This involves staying up-to-date with relevant regulations and implementing necessary controls to protect sensitive information
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and enforce policies and procedures for tenant management. This includes creating documentation, training materials, and guidelines to ensure consistent and effective management practices
  • Security and Backup Administration: Administer, monitor, and maintain the security scanning and backups tools (currently AvePoint and Avanan) used to protect our Microsoft 365 content
  • Subject Matter Expert: Provide subject matter expertise on the efficient, effective, and secure deployment and use of the Microsoft 365 tools and services, including but not limited to Office 365, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, CoPilot, Project Online, Power BI, and the Power Platform
  • Provides level 3 technical support and troubleshoots incidents and service requests related to Microsoft 365

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience in the Microsoft 365 stack, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive
  • Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 architect
  • Experience with M&A scenarios, including tenant-to-tenant migrations and data consolidation
  • Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting and programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or .NET
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • 7+ years of experience in the Microsoft 365 stack, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive
  • Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert. Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $141,000 (+ bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
