POSITION SUMMARY

Role Description

The Head of Platinum Performance will be responsible of leading and scaling our high-growth business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing operations, driving profitability, and scaling businesses in Consumer space .

This role requires a dynamic leader who can develop and execute strategic initiatives to ensure sustained growth and operational excellence.

Will be responsible to lead a team of product development, marketing, inside sales/service, outside sales specialists, technical experts, software development, among others to meet the needs of both horse owners and vets.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and execution of the 18-24 months strategic and financial operating plan that anticipates customer and market trends, and drive revenue growth above market.
  • Develop and execute detailed expansion roadmap that drives revenue growth above market. This may include expansion into new channels, product lines / categories, among other value creation opportunities.
  • Assess and shape Go-to-market model
  • Manage the Platinum business unit P&L, including partnering with finance in forecasting for annual and quarterly accounting period reviewsensuring key brand and customer segment revenues, profit margins and expenses are in line operating plan expectations.
  • Partner closely with the manufacturing team to continue driving initiatives that contribute to short and mid term cost streamlining
  • Reinforce research and development capabilities to accelerate product development tied with expansion plan.
  • Strong Commitment to quality and compliance standards, safety, financial adherence to budgetary commitments, operational excellence, and colleague engagement and retention.
  • Analyze financial issues and opportunities and make appropriate decisions to achieve both short and long-term objectives, network and the Company's business.
  • Build a culture of empowerment where colleagues know what is expected of them, have the tools, development programs and decision-making authority to do it, and are excited by our vision to take it on.
  • Assess and coach direct reports and team performance to exceed business goals.
  • Develop, maintain and evolve relationships with current and future services partners, including agreement negotiations, issue resolution, service delivery experience, etc.

Education:

  • Minimum of 15 years experience and a demonstrated track record of handling complex business.
  • BS or BA required.MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results oriented and driven to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Ability to develop long-term strategies for company growth, identifying key opportunities and risks.

Experience in scaling businesses and driving expansion in new markets.

Strong problem - solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions to drive business growth.

Financial Acumen

Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting especially in maximizing profitability. Expertise in optimizing business processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Operational efficiency

Expertise in optimizing operations processes to improve productivity and reduce costs, focusing on sustainable growth. Experience in restructuring or streamlining operations to improve overall efficiency.

Leadership & Change Management:

Proven ability to manage large-scale organizational change with a focus on scaling operations and aligning teams with new strategic objectives.

Experience in handling resistance and ensuring smooth transitions during periods of rapid growth.

Market & Competitive Analysis:

Expertise in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.

Travel Requirements

Expected travel is 25% including quarterly LT meetings, customer meetings and forums and occasional international or US travel .

Local CA preferred.

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in California. Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

Base Pay Range: $278,000 to $426,000

This position is eligible for short-term incentive compensation. The position is also eligible for long-term incentive.
