Summary: The Director, Mid Market Key Accounts will lead a team of account managers to drive growth, retention, and satisfaction among our existing client base. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to enhance client relationships, increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling, and ensure customer success. The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of sales processes with a customer-centric mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to analyze and act on data. What you'll do: Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive account management strategy focused on retention, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. Align team objectives with the company's sales and growth goals. Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and resources for the account management team.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of account managers. Set and monitor individual and team performance metrics. Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture that prioritizes client success.
Client Relationship Management:
Act as a senior point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Oversee the resolution of escalated client issues and negotiate complex renewals. Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, market trends, and industry developments.
Revenue Growth:
Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives across the existing client portfolio. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to identify and develop opportunities for account expansion. Ensure timely contract renewals and proactively address risks of churn.
Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor key account metrics, including customer lifetime value, churn rate, and revenue growth. Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership. Leverage data to identify trends, forecast performance, and guide decision-making.
You should apply if you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. 7-10 years of experience in sales, account management, or client success, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing large client portfolios. Strong analytical skills with experience in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Good-Faith Salary Range:
The annual starting salary for this position is between $130,000 - $150,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. This position is also eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards. This job posting is anticipated to remain open until February 28th, 2025.
