Responsibilities

Sustainment Division Support. The Sustainment Division provides GCC mission services to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational support services for both the GCC and the Warfighter. The Sustainment Division provides foundational services such as continual process improvement, cost control, mission planning, and opportunities for organizational efficiencies which include development of tools, asset management (HW/SW) for LCM and property accountability and security control to protect GCC CONUS managed DODIN-A services (NIPRNet and SIPRNet).
* The Web Hosting service provides custom web-based, data driven applications in both SharePoint and Java in support of the GCC mission. The team implements the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standard to help plan and design the processes that go into programming the end solution. This involves extensive documentation in the form of requirements and interface mockups, etc. The team also provides O&M for all deployed applications which includes the development of user guides and other training materials/videos, in-person training, bug tracking and resolution through ITSM, maintaining the web application server and SharePoint site collections, and facilitating requests for new functionality to existing applications as well as requests for new sites and applications.
* Software Tool Support. Configure, customize, and maintain software tools on Enterprise-provided collaboration platforms (to include items such as MS SharePoint) to provide enhanced capabilities for collaboration and development of automated processes and workflows for streamlined staffing IAW current Government and industry quality standards (i.e. ISO 9001) to aid the operational efficiency of the GCC. Configure and customize interfaces and/or software tools on Enterprise platforms and software toolsets.
* Agile Software Customization. Use agile methodology and scrum framework to quickly deliver capability to the GCC. Agile software customization allows requirements and solutions to evolve through a collaborative effort between the Government and the software development team. Use agile customization to provide an adaptive approach to aid requirement flexibility, early delivery, and continual tools improvement.
* Software Customization Platforms Toolsets. Provide customized and enhanced interfaces/tools on Enterprise platforms using software toolsets that are provided to them. As new requirements and/or software customizations/tools are identified, evaluate the platforms and toolsets that are available as well as identify potential low-cost alternatives to best situate the developed tool for ease of use and maintenance. Provide underscore cost versus the overall value of the recommended platform and/or toolset change. The BCA should compare all identified solutions based upon common factors such as improvement value, cost, compatibility to existing systems, and complexity to implement (length of time to procure, and/or significant change to current business processes).
* Software Customization Project Tracker. The Contractor Web Development Team shall create and maintain a project dashboard that depicts the software customization/enhancement projects that are proposed, in-progress, and/in maintenance mode. The dashboard shall provide key information such as timelines, major milestones, and current project status to provide situational awareness for tool owners and Government leadership.
* Annual Review of Software Tools. Evaluate all available tools that are currently maintained by the software tools customization team to make disposition recommendations to the Government. Should include common factors such as intended purpose, level of use, potential redundancy with a recently fielded Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) tool, and costs, etc. The Annual Review Report is due to Government leadership within the 2nd Quarter of each Fiscal Year (FY).



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

    Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Certifications: DCWF Code 461 Advanced: TBD
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Willingness to learn and become an effective team member.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
