Department Specific Requirements:

  • Previous acute care/hospital CNA experience
  • Must be willing to float to any department (ED, Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, and occasionally Family Birth Center)

Position Summary

The Nursing Resource Float (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant is an excellent opportunity for those focused on providing high-quality care with an eye towards the comfort and well-being of both patient and family. In this role you will be able to apply your deep commitment to care along with your strong independent decision making skills. As float pool nursing resource, you will additionally travel between locations, offering you a regular variety of locations and staff to work with.

Responsibilities


  • You will manage basic care activities with a customer service oriented delivery of care to patients
  • You will support the delivery of care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups
  • You will perform receptionist and communications duties on the patient care unit
  • You will regularly utilize your independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills


Requirements


  • Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Previous patient care experience preferred
  • Current Washington state driver's license and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.22 - $35.07 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
