Location: Mt. Sterling, IL
Department: Accounts Payable
Reports To: Accounts Payable Manager
Salary Grade: $62,113 to $93,169 annually, plus bonus opportunity

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will lead a team of Accounts Payable Coordinators, Specialists, and Clerks with a focus on the effective management of
vendor terms and on-time payments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Work closely with vendors to resolve payment or deduction inquiries
* Monitor vendor balances and proactively assess areas of financial risk
* Review weekly reporting and assist team members with outstanding issues
* Develop and maintain work schedules of supervised staff and coverage plans
* Actively participate in the hiring process of prospective new hires
* Train assigned personnel on systems, processes, and policies
* Conduct performance reviews and manage development plans for supervised staff
* Strategically plan alongside Accounts Payable leadership to set goals & project plans
* Lead continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste

YOU MUST HAVE
* Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent Dot Foods experience
* Ability to lead in a team environment, both internally and cross-functionally
* Effective planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Prior experience with PeopleSoft or OnBase
  • Successful people management skills



ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Supervision - Team of 4-6 Accounts Payable Coordinators, Specialists, and Clerks
  • Travel - Occasional overnight travel to internal events and trainings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train
