Key Responsibilities:

• Empower kids and parents to maintain great oral health habits
• Provide accurate diagnoses and comprehensive dental treatment plans
• Perform a variety of procedures including stainless steel crowns, NuSmile crowns, composite restorations, extractions, and space maintainers
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centered environment
• Comply with state, federal, and industry standards for dental practice

Typical Day:

• Operative Care: Approximately 10 operative patients for a mix of procedures including nitrous oxide administration, extractions, protective stabilization, and emergency visits
• Hygiene Exams: Roughly 25 hygiene exams per day
• Team Environment: A collaborative workplace that fosters learning and growth, with regular rotations of dentist externs and dental assistants

Requirements:

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited program
• DC Board of Dentistry dental license (active or pending)
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to professional development
• A passion for helping children achieve optimal oral health
• Exceptional organization skills and dental expertise
