Who We Are

We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport's growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The Role

This is an 8-week program from June 10th through August 13th.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Hybrid schedule: Must be capable to work on-site 2-3 days per week at the National Campus - Orlando

Hourly rate: $16.00

The USTA's newly established Coaching team is seeking a highly motivated and proactive intern to play a pivotal role in its exciting launch. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and actively contribute to the development and execution of innovative coaching programs that will shape the future of tennis coaching.

As an intern, you will support a variety of workstreams, including event logistics, data analysis, and brand activations, working closely with the coaching team to ensure the successful rollout of new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

    Assist with the planning and execution of coaching events, including logistics coordination, scheduling, and on-the-ground support.
  • Support the collection and analysis of data related to coaching programs and performance metrics to inform program improvements and decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of brand activation strategies, helping to enhance the visibility and impact of USTA's coaching initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and alignment across various workstreams.
  • Assist in the creation of content, presentations, and materials that support coaching programs and events.
  • Provide administrative support to the Coaching Department, including managing documentation, preparing reports, and tracking project milestones.
Who You Are
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • A keen interest in coaching, player development, and innovation within the tennis industry.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and report on data to drive decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with data analysis or project management tools is a plus.
