Overview: The Manager of Quality provides leadership and directs work efforts associated with quality and risk management program activities such as quality assurance, patient safety, peer review, public reporting, regulatory and accreditation readiness, patient relations and performance improvement. The manager acts as the Risk Manager within the framework of the Risk Management Program. The manager enhances clinical risk reduction and patient safety by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks. Additionally, the manager fosters continuous improvement and a just culture by concentrating on minimizing system-related errors and unsafe conditions. In collaboration with Ministry leaders, the manager provides strategic direction and oversees clinical quality initiatives including planning, design, development, implementation and evaluation of quality-related projects and programs. The Manager of Quality will perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications:
