Position: Space & Defense SW Test Intern Number of Position (s): Space & Defense SW Test Engineer Coop Duration: 10 weeks Date: June - August 2025 Location: Naperville, IL - THIS IS AN ON-SITE OPPORTUNITY IN NAPERVILLE, IL (NOT REMOTE) Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate for a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in the US. Analyze, design, develop, and test products/services, improvements/bug resolution for integrated hardware/software 5G and LTE systems as per customers' requirements. Apply and maintain quality standards. Participates in process and tool evolutions and improvements. Support the design, build, and maintenance of the verification test lab and assisting tools and framework for that lab. Participate in the automation and improvement of our test cases and techniques, including coding and scripting, and possibly explore the application of AI and ML techniques. Competence in coding/scripting at least one programming language Basic IP competence Excellent team-oriented and communication skills with a strong desire to drive results. It would be nice if you also had: 5G/Wireless communications Competence in Python Machine Learning Project/Class experience Linux and Linux administration SW/HW Verification, validation, and debugging competence.
