Position Title: CNC Operator - 2nd Shift
Wage: $22.00 - $26.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 4:30pm - 2:30am Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! CNC Operator Responsibilities: - Based on written set-up instruction operate machine tools and make offset adjustments to optimize part conformance to print - Assist in set up of machine tools under supervision of machinist - Mentor or train Operator 1 team members on certain repetitive jobs Requirements for CNC Operator: - High School Diploma or GED; CNC Technical Diploma preferred - At least two years of machining experience - Mechanical aptitude - Above average math skills - Willingness to learn - Knowledge of GD&T - Basic math skills - Ability to read blueprints at a basic level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation - Basic understanding of applicable machining techniques and of control functions QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
