Overview:

The Education Administrator will provide support to the Residency Program Director and Chief Residents, ensuring effective communication and coordination among attending physicians, residents, medical students, and institutional regulatory offices. The incumbent will manage all applicable administrative activities and administrative staff within the Department for the Pediatric Residency Program Staff Roster. They will supervise all clerical and support staff, including interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and terminating personnel, as necessary. The Administrator will also supervise and coordinate all House Staff affairs, including ensuring proper documentation, credentialing, payroll, and billing for all house officers. They will manage and maintain a comprehensive database of all House Staff for GME, IME, and alumni purposes. In addition, the Education Administrator will organize and direct all departmental activities related to the annual NRMP process, serving as the liaison to the MMC House Staff Office and acting as the primary point of contact for the dissemination of information to House Staff. They will assist with the management of the Pediatric Residency Budget and support resident duty hour logs. The Administrator will coordinate recruitment efforts, including setting up Thalamus and ERAS, managing a master Excel database of all applicants, and creating applicant files for distribution to interviewers. They will update the ABP resident portfolios, maintain APPD program and AAP resident membership, and ensure annual updates to FREIDA and GME Track information. Additionally, the Administrator will assist with the annual web ADS update and respond to all requests for verification of training from program alumni.

Requirements



  • High School Diploma/GED required, Associates Degree Preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the administration of a GME program
  • Experience with New Innovations, EPIC and ERAS
