Job Description

Become an expert in MU's eCompliance application. Work with the eCompliance application and how the administrative offices (mostly research compliance) use it with their own customer base. Work with and understand the various groups processes, policies and procedures and how that is applied to eCompliance. Provide primary support for eCompliance to these offices, as well as the customers (mostly research based) of the administrative offices. This includes problem solving, triage and communication to customers and eCompliance programmers. Support will be primarily at MU, but will extend to other UM campuses, as well.

Electronic administration of various other electronic applications used by research-based customers at MU. Examples include BookitLabs and iLabs applications. Duties will consist of understanding these applications, how they are used, and regular setup/configuration tasks related to user groups and fiscal assignments for billing. These tasks will be unique to the applications.

Train and guide new employees in the various administrative offices that use eCompliance. Work with new employees and train them in how that office uses eCompliance. Give guidance to all users of eCompliance - administrative offices and their customer base.

Shift

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Minimum Qualifications

* Depending on competency level, technical skills will range from familiarity to a solid expertise with the specific business applications/programs. Increased competency with certain business applications/programs may be acquired through a certification or formal training program, offered by the vendor or other commercial training source.

* Familiarity with desktop software applications, operating systems, and hardware may be required, depending on the business unit where the position is located.

* Understand the workflow and process requirements of business units related to the application

* Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service, be a good listener and work well with a diverse group of customers

* Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications

* Excellent problem solving/analytical skills, knowledge of analytical tools, and complex troubleshooting methods

* Ability to work through ambiguous work situations

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Familiarity with MU's eCompliance application.

* Knowledge and experience with Research Compliance at MU.

* Basic understanding and experience with SQL scripting.

* Hands-on experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness

* Self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative

* Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

* Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills

* Adept at reading, writing and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals

* Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $51,875 - $65,000 Commensurate with experience
