Cyber Operations Task Manager

Peraton is looking for a qualied Cyber Operations Task Manager to become part of the Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, eective and secure business processes. Peraton's DSCM program encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise DoS Cyber & Technology Security (CTS) Directorate. This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats. Those supporting Peratons' DSCM program strive to leverage their expert knowledge and propose creative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges.

Location: 100% on-site presence between Rosslyn, VA and Beltsville, MD for the rst 6 months in the role; flexible for some telework/remote thereafter.

Position Description:

This role supports the Cyber Operation Division within CMO.
• Provide project management oversight and reporting for multiple projects.
• Lead scheduled project scrums with engineers and perform project status reports as needed to the customers.
• Support development of Lean Business Case, project charters, detailed project plans and other project documentation.
• Conduct resource management, identify project limitations and remove barriers/blockers to ensure project success.
• Support Portfolio Manager with task tracking, mandatory reporting, as well as additional project development to include resource tracking.
• Coordinate project scheduling with engineers and other project management to ensure requirements are identied and known across the team.
• Interact with the customer and project owners to ensure they are well informed of project status as well as deviations need for project success.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years' experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
• Active PMP certication.
• Experience utilizing Structure Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile, Scrum or Kanban as a project/product manager.
• Experience developing project documentation and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience managing IT projects with a focus on agile and CI/CD.
• Demonstrated experience with resource planning and tracking.
• Proven eciency in establishing milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules.
• Understanding of technical concepts and required skillsets for implementing technical solutions.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.

Desired:

• Experience building automations in PowerBI.
• CISSP or CISM certication is preferred.
