Distribution Shift Coordinator

$2,000 sign on bonus eligible for external candidates, payable in two payments. Current UVMHN employees and prior workers gone less than one year are not eligible. Other restrictions apply.

Primary Shift is Tuesday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm and Saturday 6:00am to 2:30pm.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Distribution Shift Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of daily activities on his/her designated shift, including monitoring work assignments and providing staff support and training. The Shift Coordinator will also have responsibility for input to the Manager on employee performance evaluations. This position will have the ability to independently resolve most of the issues on the designated shift. The Shift Coordinator assists with the supervision of staff. The majority of the incumbent's time is devoted to hands-on activities within the work area.

EDUCATION:

High School Graduate (or equivalent) required; 1 year college coursework preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Two or more years of related work in the health care field in a high-volume customer focused environment. Requires excellent listening and verbal skills with a strong work ethic, great problem solving and organizational skills. Some computer training is necessary. Supervisory experience preferred.
